Set-up and/or Tear Down Crews - You will set up signs, sweep away stones at intersections, and set up checkpoint stations including tables, patio tents, and pylons. Set up shift runs 6:00 am – 8:30am. Tear down shift runs 2:00 pm – 4:30pm. Please indicate if you are available for either set up or tear down, or both; and if you have a van, truck, or trailer that can be used.

Parking Lot Attendants - You will make sure there is ample room for cars and cyclists at the registration location by directing vehicle and bicycle traffic. Shift runs 7:30am - 10:30am.

Greeters - You will make cyclists feel at home with warm smiles, friendly greetings, and knowledgeable answers. Shift runs primarily from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. With larger rides a "Welcome Station" will provide all day direction and assistance to volunteers, team members, riders and especially children in attendance.

Registration - You will assist with the friendly, efficient and accurate collecting of rider's pledge forms and monies. Some training provided. Shift runs 7:30am - 11:30am.

Rider Rewards - You will man the Ride Rewards table, handing out rewards to qualified riders once they have registered, and documenting rewards that need to be sent to riders. Shift runs 8:00 am – 11:30 am.

Station Cheerleaders - You will man a station along the ride route and encourage riders, hand out food and water, keep an eye on fatigued riders, and maintain a neat and clean site. Vehicle and cell phone required. Warm coats/blankets, and your own lawn chair are strongly suggested for your comfort. Shift runs 8:30 am – 2:00 pm.

Ride Rangers - You will ride the route to both direct, encourage, and police riders and teams. You should have a bicycle, and cell phone. Basic bicycle maintenance knowledge is a definite asset. Shift runs 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Sweep Vehicles - You will drive the route in a vehicle offering encouragement, water, food, medical aid, and bicycle repair. A truck, van, or vehicle with bike rack is preferred to allow for a bicycle and cyclist pick-up in the event of fatigue, injury, or time. Shift runs 9:00am – 2:00 pm.

Intersection Manager - You will assist riders to cross a busy intersection safely by managing number of riders crossing at one time, encouraging riders to slow down, and specifically assisting any child riders to navigate the intersection safely. Shift runs 9:00am – 2:00 pm.

Photographers - You will capture the event in picture and video by taking pictures (mainly close ups) of riders, teams, volunteers, etc at the registration location and along the Ride route. Digital camera required with 1 mb of memory minimum. If possible, you will download all pictures on to a laptop and using a video projection unit play them as a slideshow presentation during the celebration lunch. Shift runs 9:00am – 2:00 pm.
